The loss of an amazing lady ...

The very sudden loss of our mum Jill on Friday 6th April 2012 was a massive shock to us as a family, aswell as to the numerous friends mum already had. In addition to these - mum played a big part of our 777 event and touched a huge amount of people's lives ... she became a lot of peoples 'surrogate' mum for the week through her kindness and support and bubbly personality to keep everyone going. She will always be remembered for her big curly hair and smiling face.
Mums funeral service will be held at St Michaels church in Patridge Green at 1.30pm on Friday 20th April 2012 followed by a cremation at Woodvale in Brighton. We have been asked by numerous people about donations to a charity - 777 was fully in her heart and we feel it appropriate that CLIC Sargent would be her choice.
We would like to give our thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts and condolances at this very difficult time and for your continued support to our chosen charity.
Much love
Martin, Tracey and Sam x

Ashtons Grandma Jillian Hayne

Like everyone else I was devastated at the news of Ashton's diagnosis, but we are a positive family and always look forward. I wanted to contribute how I could - not as a runner ! .... but, as a seamstress for most of my life, I love doing creative things ... making the jewellery and xmas baubles takes lots of time but is for a worthy cause and my way of contributing is not only my time but all the beads etc that are needed to make everything that we can sell so that 100% of the monies raised from the sales go to the 777 chosen charities - Clic Sargent & Henfield Leisure Centre.
My children - Martin (Ashtons dad) Sam and Tracey all ran the Barnes Green 1/2 marathon this year for Clic Sargent and The Royal Marsden hospital - this made me very proud and made me realise that together we can all contribute something to help prevent & STOP Cancer in Children.
Below are some examples ...Prices start from just £3 for the small baubles and £5 for the standard size. I have also made some beaded bracelets for everyday wear aswell as more dressy evening wear. In addition I have a few scarfs for sale that I have knitted (not in traditional wool) ... these are only £10 .. I have seen them at other craft fayres for £25!!. We all look forward to seeing you at the Henfield xmas event on Friday and thankyou in advance for supporting 777
