Despite suffering a back problem at mile 18 of the Brighton Marathon she completed the 26.2 miles in just five hours and 38 seconds, raising more than £1,700 for Macmillan Cancer Care.
Tracey is general manager of Peewees, the Burgess Hill hairdressers, and she was running in support of friend Gary Dunk (Pictured) who has been undergoing cancer treatment.
“It was tough towards the end but I had the support, encouragement and advice of my sister Sam Bremner and experienced marathon runner Ilidia Campbell who is doing the London Marathon on Sunday,” said Tracey.
Her next challenge is on May 10th in a 20-mile “Rat Race” obstacle course at Burghley House, Lincolnshire, for Cancer Research. You can click on our Donations page above to support any of our challenges or charities

Prudential London Surrey 100 mile cycle challenge! - Sunday 4th August 2013
TRACEY & ADRIAN COMPLETED THIS IN 81/2 hrs ;-)

Sunday 4th August 2013 saw much of London and Surrey at a standstill, roads closed and approx 20,000 cyclists participating in the first Prudential Ridelondon - much of which is on the Olympic cycle route - 2 of the 20,000 were 777 supporters Tracey Prescott and Adrian Hillman, who joined the CLIC Sargent team . They used the London to Brighton night ride as a 'training' session and put theirselves through additional training with spin classes and 30 mile cycle rides, however neither of them have cycled 100 miles in one go and one of the 'rules' of the 100 miler is that you have to finish within 9hours!
They would both like to thank the support they recieved - and if you see them out training with their CLIC Sargent tops on around Henfield and surrounding areas - pass widely and give them a toot !!

Team 777 75mile off road London to Brighton cycle challenge
Sat 22nd September 2012 ...

Team 777 cyclists, Martin Hayne, Tracey Prescott,Sam Bremner, David Bloomfield, Donna Stephenson and Craig Clarke took up the challenge of London to Brighton 75mile off road cycle for the British Heart Foundation. (In June this year some of them also did the London to Brighton 62mile night ride) The off road challenge started at Roehampton college Richmond and finished at Hove lawns . The day was good fun but some MAJOR hill climbs .. having to be a nanny goat to get up one of them was referred to! and rocky descents put everyone through their paces and tested their endurance. They completed the challenge in just over 9hrs with stops.... 6hrs 50mins of actual cycling to finish the 75miles.
We want to thank everybody that met us in Henfield at the 60mile mark and at the finish line - your support helped us get through it.
*STOP PRESS * STOP PRESS* ..... WE DID IT !!!
We would like to thank everyone that was involved in our marathon event in March 2012 - approx a WHOPPING £26,000 has been raised so far - way beyond our target, we cannot thank everyone involved enough :-) .... its not too late to donate as you can still do this on line with the link above or by popping into the Henfield Leisure Centre.

..........Let us introduce ourselves and tell you why!

Ashton having a 'good day' :-)
Running to help children with Cancer
We started a committee of 7 volunteers, as follows:
Sam Bremner- who came up with the crazy idea and is running all 7 marathons - 1 each day!
Tracey Prescott - Sam's sister (who maybe isn't mad enough to do the running) is another of Ashtons Aunties and holds the charity very dear and will be involved throughout the whole process to make the week a success
Paul Newbatt - Henfield Leisure Centre Committee Member and has been involved in many local sports groups including a very successful girls football team at Henfield Football Club
Angelina Andrews- Self made business woman whose business and marketing skills will be invaluable - and will also be participating in the running.
Matt Chard - Personal trainer at Henfield Leisure centre - who will be very much involved in the fitness side of the week
Malcolm Lane - another running nut who will be running a marathon everyday as well
Martin Hayne - Ashtons Dad and Sam and Tracey's brother - who may even be running some of the miles himself
Sam Bremner, Tim Jones and Malcolm Lane will each be running 7 marathons in 7 days in aid of CLIC Sargent and Henfield Leisure Centre in March 2012. This charity is close to Sam’s heart as her nephew Ashton who was only 4 years old (March 2010 )when he was diagnosed with leukaemia and is currently being treated at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton.
Funds Raised since Ashton's diagnosis in March 2010 to support CLIC Sargent and The Royal Marsden
Sam ran the Barnes Green half marathon for the first time in October 2010 to raise funds for CLIC Sargent and raised £1908.
Ashtons dad Martin plays rugby and has been playing for Egham Rugby club for many years (bit of a veteran now though ha ha). In August 2010 Martin and Ashtons mum Michelle organised a charity rugby match against Twickenham at Egham rugby club with a raffle, sponge throwing at the players and proceeds from the club bar raising just over £1,000 - the day then continued at the Forresters Arms in Egham with a BBQ, raffle, auction and casino night - resulting in the day raising over £5,000 for the Royal Marsden. As you can imagine Martin and Michelle were stunned at peoples generosity - not just in cash but in donations for the raffles and auction and in giving up time to help where they could.
Ashton’s mum and dad had this to say…."When we were first told that Ashton had Leukaemia, our world fell apart. We were shattered, and felt helpless and bewildered. We are both lucky to have very supportive families providing us with much needed emotional support, but when it came to how we would cope with an illness like Leukaemia, that's where CLIC Sargent stepped in. The support provided by CLIC Sargent, from the Play Nurses helping Ashton deal with his treatments, to the Social Workers helping us with the more practical elements was incredible. We cannot thank them enough."
Every day 10 families are told the devastating news that their child has cancer. CLIC Sargent is the only charity offering them care and support, every step of the way.
